Swetha Grandhi

Swetha Grandhi, the visionary founder of Happy Speaking Therapeutic Services, stands out as a licensed speech-language pathologist and audiologist. Her commitment to her profession is further solidified by her status as a lifetime member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA), which underscores her dedication to the highest standards of practice in her field.

Since embarking on her career in 2004, Swetha has accumulated a wealth of experience that spans nearly two decades. Her educational journey began at the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped (AYJNIHH) in Secunderabad, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She then advanced her expertise with postgraduate work at the JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing (JSSISH) in Mysore, further refining her skills and knowledge. She has also completed her Level I & II OPT.

Swetha’s professional journey has seen her work in diverse environments, including schools, hospitals, and various educational institutions. She served as Head for the speech therapy department at Lahari rehabilitation center, worked as a research officer at All India institute of speech and hearing (AIISH) Mysore, lecturer at (Dr.SRCISH), Bangalore, Assistant professor at (NAISH),Bangalore, also worked as a senior speech language pathologist at Billabong high international school Noida. She also guided various clinical conferences and journal clubs. Swetha also contributed for secretarial assistance for “RCI-CRE”, Seminar on “Dysphagia: Basics and Insights for Speech Pathologist” 28th February 2015. She was also an active member of organizing committee for National levels conferences conducted at Dr. SRCISH during 2012-2015.

  • She also served as a Resource Person for “RCI-CRE approved “2 day Hands-on Workshop on Objective Analysis of Voice and Speech” 25th-26th October (2013) and presented on “Clinical Demonstration of Use of PRAAT software for Acoustic Analysis”
  • Resource Person for “RCI-CRE, Seminar on “Dysphagia: Speech Pathologist”28th February (2015) and presented on “Assessment on Drooling: An associated condition of dysphagia.” She also guided a Dissertation titled “Lexical Processing in Nepali-English Bilinguals” as a Part of Master Program.

  • Guided one scientific research titled “Comparison of Assessment of the child’s experience of stuttering (ACES) with Stuttering Severity Index(SSI) ” for 4th ISHACON 2014 held at yercaud,Salem from 20th to 21st September 2014, organized by Indian Speech and Hearing Association Tamilnadu.
  • Guided two scientific research titled for 4th TAN-ISHACON 2014 held at yercaud, Salem from 20th to 21st September 2015, organized by Indian Speech and Hearing Association Tamilnadu.
  • Modality Specific working memory assessment in normal’s and in varied communication disorders.
  • Person with disability (PWD): an insight on understanding of sibling difficulties.
  • Guided three scientific research for RCI-CRE Programme on “Traumatic Brain Injury: A multi-DisciplinaryApproach” held on 10th and 11th September 2015 at DRSRCISH, Bangalore.
