Divya Praveen
About Divya
Divya Praveen is a dedicated speech language pathologist with 14 years of experience in her field. She has completed her bachelors (speech & hearing) and masters (speech language pathology) degree from University of Mysore. She has worked in different settings such as clinics, colleges and private practice. She worked as a research officer at all India institute of speech and hearing, Mysore. Also worked as an associate professor at Naseema Institute of speech and hearing Bangalore.
Her area of interest includes childhood language disorders, fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, speech sound disorders, adult communication disorders secondary to stroke or traumatic brain injury and swallowing disorders.
Certification
She has various Certification in her credits which includes
- Fellowship in speech and swallowing rehabilitation following head and neck cancer
- Comprehensive oral sensory motor intervention (COSMI) for pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders
- AVAZ certified AAC professional (ACAP)
- Currently doing Oral placement therapy (OPT)- three treatment plan
Research
She has done various research work in motor speech disorders, stuttering, articulation and language disorders. Also guided several clinical conferences, journal club and dissertations. Also, has served as resource person in seminars.

- Received best poster award entitled “phonological process in Malayalam speaking children in the age range of 2-5 years” in ISHA -BC (2018)
- Received best poster award entitled “speech sound acquisition in typically developing Manipuri speaking children in the age range of 2-3 years in ISHA -BC (2018)
